ACV UK has supplied three Evo S 120kW stainless steel condensing boilers, in cascade, with a plate heat exchanger, to a Baptist church in Leicestershire, as part of refurbishment programme.

Finding the right heating solution for a church can be quite challenging, particularly if it’s an old or large building.  To help advise on a new reliable heating system that would efficiently serve the church community, William Freer Ltd reached out to its local ACV representative, who proposed a suitable system that would meet the needs of the building.

The chosen system for the project was three 120kW stainless steel condensing Evo S boilers, cascaded with a low height frame and header kit and a plate heat exchanger for hydraulic separation.

Available in seven different outputs from 40 to 150kW, each Evo S boiler installed at the church delivers an output of 120kW.  Featuring a 5:1 turndown ratio, premix burner technology for clean operation with ErP Class 6 NOx emissions, and up to 97% gross seasonal efficiency, the Evo S also features a durable stainless steel heat exchanger backed by a 5-year warranty* for added peace of mind. 

To support the installation, ACV was also on hand to supply a cascade frame and header kit to increase the overall output of the boiler system up to 360kW and a plate heat exchanger to help preserve the internal components of the boiler.  Going forward, the church can expect to benefit from increased savings on future servicing and maintenance intervals.

Evo S boilers are a perfect solution for installations that need a higher heating output. These boilers are lightweight, simple to install with a slim-line design which makes them easier to manoeuvre through a doorway. Moreover, the ACV low height frame and heater kit offers the best solution for low height plant rooms.

Installed by William Freer Ltd in six weeks, the church building is now benefiting from a reliable and cost-effective heating system, which will continue to keep the congregants warm for years to come.
